A vulnerability has been identified in ZoneAlarm, which could be exploited by malicious users to obtain elevated privileges. This flaw is due to an error in the TrueVector service ("VSMON.exe") that loads certain DLLs (Dynamically Linked Libraries) in an insecure manner, which could be exploited by local attackers to execute arbitrary commands with SYSTEM privileges by placing a malicious DLL in a specific directory.
