A vulnerability has been identified in Windows Media Player plug-in, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error when processing an overly long "embed src" tag, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of the affected system by convincing a user to visit a specially crafted web site using a non-Microsoft Internet browser (e.g. Netscape or Firefox).
Note : A fully functional exploit has been released.
