A vulnerability has been identified in Lighttpd, which can be exploited by remote attackers to disclose sensitive information. This flaw is due to an input validation error when processing specially crafted HTTP requests containing uppercase file extensions (e.g. ".PHP" or ".Php"), which could be exploited by remote attackers to display the source code of arbitrary scripts instead of an expected HTML response.
