Multiple vulnerabilities were identified in Microsoft HTML Help Workshop, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. These issues are due to buffer overflow errors when processing a specially crafted ".hhp", ".cnt" or ".hpj" file, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by convincing a user to open a malicious file.
