A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Java System Access Manager, which could be exploited by malicious privileged users to bypass security restrictions. This flaw is due to an access validation error when processing certain commands sent via the "amadmin" CLI tool, which could be exploited by a local user logged in as "root" to administer the Access Manager installation with the privileges of the top-level administrator, regardless of the credentials originally used to login to the Access Manager server.
