A vulnerabilityhas been identified in FreeBSD, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to an integer overflow error in the "net80211" module when handling of corrupt IEEE 802.11 beacon or probe response frames when scanning for existing wireless networks, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash or compromise a system scanning for wireless networks.
