Gentoo has released updated packages to correct a vulnerability identified in Blender. This flaw is due to an integer overflow error in the "get_bhead()" [readfile.c] function when processing malformed ".blend" files, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise an affected system by convincing a user to open a specially crafted "blend" file.
