A vulnerability has been identified in phpBB, which could be exploited by attackers to execute malicious scripting code. This flaw is due to an input validation error in the "Allow HTML" feature when processing a specially crafted message, which may be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser. This vulnerability is a variant of FrSIRT/ADV-2005-2991
