Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in FFmpeg libavcodec and xine-lib, which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code. These flaws are due to buffer overflow errors in the "utils.c", "dtsdec.c", "vorbis.c", "rm.c", "sierravmd.c", "smacker.c", "tta.c", "4xm.c", "alac.c", "cook.c", "shorten.c", "smacker.c", "snow.c", and "tta.c" files, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a specially crafted file.
