A vulnerability has been identified in MailEnable Professional and MailEnable Enterprise, which may be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service. This issue is due to a buffer overflow error in the IMAP daemon that does not properly handle specially crafted "EXAMINE" commands, which could be exploited by remote authenticated attackers to crash or compromise a vulnerable system.
