A vulnerability has been identified in FastJar, which may be exploited by attackers to write malicious files to arbitrary directories. This issue is caused due to unsafe extraction of compressed files containing directory traversal sequences in their filenames, which could be exploited by attackers to write malicious files into arbitrary directories when a specially crafted file is extracted from a JAR archive.
