A vulnerability was identified in ktools, which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the "VGETSTRING" [kkstrtext.h] macro that does not properly validate certain strings before being used in a "vsprintf()" function call, which could be exploited by remote or local attackers to cause an application linked with ktools to execute arbitrary code.
