A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Solaris, which may be exploited by malicious users to obtain elevated privileges. This issue is due to an error in the "traceroute" utility when processing a large number of "-g" arguments or a malformed "-s" argument, which could be exploited by local attackers to execute arbitrary commands with elevated privileges (PRIV_NET_RAWACCESS).
