A vulnerability has been identified in Macromedia Contribute Publishing Server, which could be exploited by attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information. This flaw is due to a design error where a weak password encryption mechanism is used to create the shared connection keys, which could be exploited by attackers to disclose sensitive information (e.g. FTP login credentials).
