A vulnerability has been identified in Astaro Security Linux, which could be exploited by attackers to connect to arbitrary ports on a vulnerable system. This flaw is due to an error in the proxy component (port 8080) that accepts connections for "localhost", which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass firewall rules and connect to arbitrary ports on a vulnerable system by sending specially crafted HTTP CONNECT requests to the proxy.
