A vulnerability was identified in Computer Associates BrightStor ARCserve Backup and BrightStor Enterprise Backup Agents, which may be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to a stack overflow error when a string with a length over 3168 bytes is sent to port 6070, which may be exploited by unauthenticated attackers to run arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
