A vulnerability was identified in Apple Mac OS X, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service and potentially execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the Font Book that does not properly handle font collection files with overly long names, which could be exploited by attackers to crash the application or compromise a vulnerable system by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted file.
