A vulnerability was identified in Fetchmail, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a stack overflow error when processing specially crafted UIDL responses from a POP3 server, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by convincing a user to connect to a malicious POP3 server.
