Slackware has released updated packages to address two security vulnerabilities identified in Dnsmasq. The first issue is due to a buffer overflow error when reading the DHCP lease file, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. The second flaw is due to an error when processing DNS replies, which could be exploited to poison the DNS cache.
