A vulnerability was identified in multiple Sophos products, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to an error when processing Zip files compressed using the BZIP2 algorithm and containing a specially crafted "Extra field length" value, which could be exploited to cause a denial of service by sending a malicious file in an e-mail message to a vulnerable application.
