A vulnerability was identified in cPanel, which could be exploited by attackers to perform cross site scripting. This flaw is due to an input validation error in the "cpsrvd.pl" script that does not properly filter a specially crafted "user" parameter (port 2082), which may be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
