Mandriva has released a security patch to correct a vulnerability identified in KDE Desktop. The flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in kdelibs, and occurs when handling specially crafted "PCX" images, which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.
