A new vulnerability was identified in Apple QuickTime, which may be exploited by attackers to disclose sensitive information. This flaw is due to a permission error in Quartz Composer compositions when embedded in ".mov" files, which may be exploited by a malicious website to discover the existence of local files on a vulnerable system or gain knowledge of sensitive information (local username, computer name...).
