A new vulnerability was reported in the Microsoft Hyperlink Object Library, which may be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. This problem exists because of an unchecked buffer while handling malformed hyperlinks, which may be exploited by creating a specially crafted link and convincing a user into clicking this malicious link, which could lead to remote code execution.
