An information disclosure vulnerability was reported in Microsoft Windows, which may be exploited by a remote attacker to read the user names for users who have an open connection to an available shared resource. The problem exists in the process that is used to validate authentication information when a client establishes an anonymous logon by using a named pipe connection, and could be exploited by sending a specially crafted request to the affected system.
