A new vulnerability has been identified in Sun Solaris, it could be exploited by local users to obtain elevated privileges. The flaw resides in the DHCP administration utilities "dhcpconfig", "pntadm", and "dhcpmgr", which may allow an unprivileged local user the ability to execute arbitrary code with "root" privileges. Solaris 7 and Solaris 9 are not affected by this issue.
