A critical vulnerability was reported and fixed in Adobe Reader and Acrobat, which could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a malicious PDF file. This flaw is caused by an input validation error in a JavaScript method, and is reportedly being exploited in the wild.
An unpatched vulnerability affecting Apple Mac OS X Tiger (10.4) and Leopard (10.5) has been publicly disclosed.This issue is caused by permission errors related to the ARDAgent (Apple Remote Desktop) utility, which could allow local attackers to gain "root" privileges.
