Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Mozilla products, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions, disclose sensitive information or compromise a vulnerable system. Two reliable and remote code execution exploits for Firefox have already been developed by FrSIRT.
Microsoft published four security advisories and addressed eight vulnerabilities affecting GDI+, Media Encoder, Media Player, and Office. We expect to see active exploitation of GDI+ (MS08-052) vulnerabilities in the near future. Exploits for Media Encoder (MS08-053) and OneNote (MS08-055) are already available.
